Project Introduction

The electric vehicle charging app developed by ManageON Co., Ltd. was created to help electric vehicle users conveniently utilize various functions related to charging. This app was developed as a hybrid app on the Android platform, providing users with an intuitive and efficient charging experience.

Scope of Work

The scope of the project includes the following:

  1. Requirement Collection: Defined the requirements clearly through initial meetings with the client, detailing the project's goals and functionalities.
  2. Storyboard Creation: Created a storyboard to visually represent the user flow and interface, planning the overall structure and operation of the app.
  3. Design: Completed the design with a focus on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), aiming for an intuitive and user-friendly design.
  4. Publishing: Conducted publishing work using HTML5 and CSS3 to implement the designed elements into actual code.
  5. Front-End Development: Developed the interactive parts of the app using JavaScript and TypeScript. Utilized the Cordova framework to develop the app in a hybrid format.
  6. Unit Testing and Third-Party Testing: Conducted unit testing for each feature and verified the completeness of the app through external test groups.
  7. User Testing: Performed user testing with real users to verify usability and functionality, incorporating feedback.
  8. Release: Completed all development and testing processes, and released the app on the Google Play Store.

Key Features

This app includes the following key features:

  • Charging: Users can control the electric vehicle charger and monitor the charging status through the app. It supports smooth connection with the charger using BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) communication.
  • Usage and Environmental Contribution Tracking: Users can check the amount of electricity used so far and see the equivalent number of trees planted through the app. This visually represents the user's contribution to environmental protection.
  • Charging History Review: Users can easily view past charging records. It provides a history organized by date and charging station, enhancing user convenience in management.

This project utilized various latest technologies:
