Project Overview

D-Life Co., Ltd. decided to build a social commerce meta site to help customers compare products from various social commerce sites at a glance and make optimal purchasing decisions. This project aims to provide a user-friendly and reliable price comparison platform utilizing modern web technologies such as PHP, ASP, jQuery, and JavaScript.

Key Features

  1. Price Comparison: Provides real-time comparison of product prices from various social commerce sites (e.g., Coupang, WeMakePrice, TMON) to offer users the cheapest price.
  2. Product Search: Users can easily search for desired products by keyword or category.
  3. Reviews and Ratings: Provides user reviews and ratings for each product to assist in purchase decisions.
  4. Notification Feature: Notifies users of real-time price changes for desired products, allowing them to purchase at the optimal time.
  5. Mobile Optimization: Adopts responsive web design to ensure easy access and use for mobile users.

Technology Stack

Frontend

  • Caching System: Optimizes system performance by caching frequently accessed data. Redis is used to enable quick data access.

Development Process

Requirement Analysis

  • Conducted multiple meetings with the client to detail the requirements and based on this, established the project plan.
  • Compiled a list of key features, set priorities, and proceeded with development in stages.

Design and Implementation

  • Collaborated between the frontend and backend teams to design the overall system architecture.
  • Created prototypes and continuously exchanged feedback with the client, adjusting and refining functionalities to meet requirements.
  • Developed each functional module independently and ultimately integrated them to verify the overall system operation.

Testing and Deployment

  • Created various test cases to verify the system's stability and reliability.
  • Conducted unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests to identify and fix bugs and optimize performance.
  • Finally deployed the system on the client's server and monitored for potential issues in the live environment, providing immediate responses as necessary.
