IT7 successfully partnered with OI Company to develop a hybrid app platform that provides comprehensive information about plastic surgery clinics located in Gangnam, South Korea. This project aimed to enable users to easily access diverse information on different specialties of plastic surgery, review clinics, and conduct consultations all in one place, thereby saving time in exploring plastic surgery options and enhancing the overall user experience.

Key Features

1. Hospital and Specialty Information Provision We organized and provided detailed information on plastic surgery clinics in the Gangnam area for users. Each clinic’s main specialties, detailed descriptions of surgeries and procedures, estimated costs, and profiles of specialists were included to help users find the necessary information easily.

2. User Reviews and Community We implemented a feature that allows users to write reviews on each clinic and its specialties and attach photos. This enables users to share their actual experiences and refer to reviews from others to obtain more reliable information. Additionally, a commenting feature facilitates active communication and exchange of opinions among users, naturally forming a community and maximizing user engagement.

3. Consultation Request and Management We added a feature allowing users to request consultations by uploading photos of the areas they wish to consult about. This makes it easier for users to describe their conditions and request consultations for desired procedures. The information is transmitted in real-time to each clinic’s representatives, enabling them to swiftly schedule consultations, thereby allowing users to manage consultations in a one-stop process.

4. Real-time Notification Feature After a consultation request, responses or schedule changes from the clinic are communicated to the user in real-time through notifications. This facilitates smooth communication between the user and the clinic, allowing the user to respond quickly.

5. Mobile and Web Integration The hybrid app platform is designed to provide an optimal user experience on both mobile and web platforms. This allows users to access the platform anytime and anywhere, ensuring a consistent service across various devices.

Technical Implementation

This platform was developed using the latest hybrid app technologies. The main technology stack includes the Ionic Framework and Angular for the frontend, and Node.js and MongoDB for the backend. These technologies ensure fast and stable app performance, secure user data management, and support real-time communication functions.

Ionic Framework and Angular: Using Ionic and Angular, we proceeded with cross-platform development, enabling support for iOS, Android, and the web with a single codebase. Angular’s powerful component-based architecture enhanced code reusability and simplified maintenance.

Node.js and MongoDB: The backend server was built using Node.js, utilizing an asynchronous event-driven structure to achieve high processing performance. MongoDB was used as the database to support flexible data modeling and scaling. The structure was particularly designed to implement real-time data transmission and notification functions.
