IT7 successfully completed a state-of-the-art educational video streaming app and web platform project for Redrover Inc. This project focuses on maximizing the accessibility and efficiency of educational content while providing a personalized learning experience for users.
1. Video Streaming and Curation The core function of the platform is high-quality video streaming. Users can watch a variety of educational content anytime, anywhere. In particular, a curation feature based on the user's viewing history has been introduced. This feature allows users to receive customized content recommendations tailored to their learning patterns and preferences. The curation algorithm analyzes viewing time, frequency, and areas of interest to recommend the most suitable content.
2. Recommendation Platform The recommendation feature, based on users' viewing history, aids in the personalization of learning. The platform uses AI and machine learning technologies to analyze each user's learning patterns and recommend new content accordingly. This recommendation system enhances user experience and maximizes learning efficiency. Users can always find the most useful content for themselves with ease.
3. Video and Audio Recording and Synthesis Another important feature is the ability to record and synthesize video and audio. Server: Windows Server 2012 R2 This project used Windows Server 2012 R2 as the server operating system. This server environment is stable and provides powerful features to meet various business needs.
Database: MariaDB The database used was MariaDB. MariaDB is an open-source database known for its high performance and stability, capable of handling large-scale data processing and high availability requirements. Additionally, MariaDB offers compatibility with MySQL, ensuring flexibility in database management and operations.
Web Server: IIS 7.5 IIS 7.5 was chosen as the web server. IIS is optimized for the Windows Server environment and provides stable performance and a variety of features. This choice enhances the reliability and security of the web application.
Front-End: Unity (Android, iOS) Unity was used for front-end development. Unity is a powerful engine that supports cross-platform development, delivering optimized performance on both Android and iOS. With Unity, we were able to provide a high-quality user interface and seamless user experience.
Back-End: ASP.NET (aspx) ASP.NET was used for back-end development. ASP.NET is a web application framework provided by Microsoft, offering high productivity and flexibility. Additionally, it provides strong security features and scalability, enabling the implementation of stable server-side logic.
