The project to build a product information system for Lock & Lock by IT7 is an exemplary case of developing a web-based system that efficiently manages and utilizes product information for Lock & Lock's sales. This system includes a CMS application that allows for quick responses in the sales field and real-time generation of catalogs to be delivered to customers.
Objective:
The purpose of this project was to integrate and manage various product information of Lock & Lock, creating an environment where immediate responses are possible in the sales field.
Scope of Work:
The project encompassed a comprehensive range of activities, including requirement gathering, storyboard creation, design, publishing, front-end and back-end development, unit testing, third-party testing, user testing, and release.
SAP ERP Integration:
The system is integrated with Lock & Lock's existing SAP ERP system, maintaining data consistency and enabling real-time reflection of ERP data.
Daily Batch Job:
Implemented daily batch jobs to keep SAP data and data from the company's own mall and legacy systems up-to-date, ensuring the latest data is always available.
Global Scalability:
Designed with scalability in mind to prepare for future global market expansion.
Multi-Device Support:
Developed to function seamlessly on both PCs and tablets.
Real-Time Catalog Generation:
