Project Background

Lock&Lock Mall, an e-commerce platform initially developed by another company, offers a wide range of products to its customers. However, as time passed, it became necessary to implement some feature enhancements and perform maintenance. To address these needs, Lock&Lock Co., Ltd. entrusted IT7 with the task. The objective of this project is to enhance the stability of Lock&Lock Mall, improve user experience, and provide more convenient management tools for administrators.

Key Tasks

Addition of Real-Time Splash Screen Change Functionality

Goal: Enable real-time updates of the splash screen image via the administrator website.
Details: The splash screen is the app's initial screen and needs frequent updates for promotions or seasonal changes. We developed a system allowing easy image uploads on the administrator website, with changes reflecting immediately.

Configuration of FCM Public Push Notification Reception

Goal: Enable Android and iOS apps to receive push notifications for announcements and events via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
Details: FCM allows the delivery of real-time important information to app users. We integrated FCM with the Android and iOS apps, enabling them to receive push notifications.

Payment System Stabilization

Goal: Ensure no disruptions occur during the payment process on Android and iOS apps.
Details: We reviewed and optimized the code to prevent various issues that might arise during payment processes. Extensive testing was conducted to ensure users can complete payments smoothly without any problems.

Administrator Website Functionality Overhaul

Goal: Inspect and enhance various management points on the administrator website.
Details: The administrator website is crucial for the operation of Lock&Lock Mall. We improved the UI/UX of the admin pages, enhanced accessibility for frequently used functions, and fixed existing errors while boosting performance.

Addition of Push Notification Sending Functionality

Goal: Add a feature that allows push notifications to be sent directly from the administrator website.
Details: To quickly communicate events or urgent announcements, we added an interface on the administrator website for sending push notifications. This allows administrators to send notifications without needing developer assistance.

Project Outcome

Through this maintenance project, Lock&Lock Mall has become a more stable and user-friendly platform. The real-time splash screen update feature and push notification reception and sending capabilities have enhanced communication with users. The stabilization of the payment system has significantly reduced customer inconvenience. Additionally, the improvements to the administrator website have increased operational efficiency.

IT7 has enhanced the overall user experience of Lock&Lock Mall through this project and provided more powerful management tools for operators, establishing a foundation for the continuous growth of Lock&Lock Mall. We look forward to Lock&Lock Mall's continued development as a beloved platform for users.
